T0 - off the form
The product is removed from the form and the surfaces are left untreated. Formed surfaces may reflect any minor imperfections in the formwork. Some bug holes (air voids) are to be expected. Trowel marks will be visible on the troweled surface. Natural color variation and modeling may occur on all surfaces.
T1 - smooth
The product is treated with a light abrasive pad to even the surface. Surfaces will receive sacking to minimize bug holes (air voids) that 1/4” and greater.
T2 - Acid Etch
The product is treated with an acid that removes the top layer of cement paste. This makes for a more uniform color and texture.
T3 - sandblast
The product is treated with light abrasive blasting which exposes the sand and the edges and faces of the medium aggregate. The surface amplitude is 1/8”.
T4 - medium sandblast
The product is treated with medium abrasive blasting which exposes the sand and the edges and faces of the medium and coarse aggregate. The surface amplitude is 3/16”.
T5 - rough surface
The product is treated with heavy abrasive blasting which exposes the sand and the edges and faces of the medium and coarse aggregate. The surface amplitude is 1/4”.
p1 - polish
The product is treated with a wet abrasive polishing pad which cuts the surface to a smooth finish while also exposing some of the fine aggregate.
p2 - medium polish
The product is treated with a medium wet abrasive polishing pad which cuts the surface to a smooth finish while also exposing some of the fine & medium aggregate.
Colors shown are approximate laboratory samples made with Portland Type II cement, native sand, and native aggerate. Due to varying condition during production actual colors may vary from the chart above. The selected texture will also have an effect on the actual color as the color of the aggerate may be exposed. Physical samples available upon request. Custom colors available upon request.
